This warranty is given in place of all other warranties, expressed or implied. No statement or claim about the product by an employee, agent, or dealer of PowerLung, Inc. shall constitute a warranty by PowerLung, Inc. or give rise to any liability or obligation of PowerLung, Inc.
Products sold by PowerLung, Inc. are not intended to be used as medical devices or in medical environments. No PowerLung, Inc. product is intended for the prevention, curing, or alleviation of any disease, injury or handicap.
Your PowerLung unit, when delivered to you in new condition in its original container, is warranted against defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and with appropriate maintenance for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase.
If parts of a PowerLung unit is proven to be defective upon inspection by PowerLung, Inc, it will be repaired with new or comparable parts or exchanged for a new PowerLung unit of the same model at the choice of PowerLung, Inc.
This limited warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal use of the PowerLung unit and does not apply to the following:
- Loss of or damage to the PowerLung unit due to misuse, abuse, alteration, accident; units that have been modified, serviced or repaired by anyone other than PowerLung, Inc. or its authorized service center or units which the serial number has been removed or made illegible.
- Failure to follow operating, maintenance and cleaning instructions as outlined in the PowerLung instruction manual.
- Fading and discoloration due to age and use.
- Use of parts or supplies that cause damage to the PowerLung unit.
A PowerLung representative will attempt to diagnose and correct the problem with your PowerLung model over the phone or through e-mail. If the problem cannot be resolved, you will be asked to mail your PowerLung model in for service using the steps stated below. PowerLung, Inc. will not send replacement parts for your PowerLung model. Replacement parts will need to be serviced by a PowerLung technician.
INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY SERVICE
Customers outside the United States who need warranty service need to contact their distributor if one is available for their country. International customers who send their PowerLung model to our United States offices for warranty service are responsible for shipping charges to return the serviced model.
MAIL-IN WARRANTY SERVICE
This service is for PowerLung owners who have registered their PowerLung model and are within their warranty. Registration information is included with every PowerLung model. You can register your PowerLung model online here.
Any PowerLung models received that are not registered with PowerLung, Inc. or are outside their warranty date and/or coverage will be repaired for a fee and returned to customer after payment for repair services is received. Costs and details about our Repair Service are available here.
SHIPPING TO POWERLUNG, INC.
It is your responsibility to package and ship your PowerLung model. PowerLung, Inc. is not responsible for the costs of shipping, lost or damaged returns.
Clean your PowerLung before sending it in for warranty service. This is a common issue and may resolve your problems with your PowerLung model. You can find instructions on cleaning your PowerLung here. Though we recommend cleaning with PowerLung Washe, you can find instructions on how to clean if you do not have any here.
If you continue to have problems with your PowerLung after cleaning, please send in your PowerLung for warranty service.
WHAT TO SEND
Include only your PowerLung model, an explanation of the problem, a return address and a phone number or e-mail address to contact you. The PowerLung model covered by this warranty will be repaired and returned to you at no charge.
